The superlines have taken over. If you’re not using fluorocarbon your angler buddies look at you like you are crazy. It’s about the same with braid. The “macho” angler would surely not use monofilament. It’s about power, it’s about winches and it’s about giant bass in heavy cover. In our book it’s also about bites and we believe there are still plenty of places where mono has application.
Believe it or not there are still some techniques where monofilament line is the ticket. One, for example is topwaters, how about crankbaits, another is when fishing rough, heavy cover, like hedge and rocks where abrasions can be an issue. Monofilament line can be more forgiving. It can also be more cost effective.
We have recently seen the movement away from mono to fluorocarbon, braid and hybrids and believe that could be a mistake solely based on machismo. Each of the new superlines do have a place but much like anglers who use different lures there are places where they should use different line as well. Technique specific baits can call for technique specific line and we believe that Sufix branded monofilament line, in particular Sufix Elite, is an affordable alternative and should be considered.
Sufix Elite fishing line is a premium monofilament line. It is specifically engineered for precision casting and the performance of the line is superior. Blending the best in technology with the best in components makes this a premier quality line. Sufix exclusive “J7 Micro Resin formula” combined with a G2 Precision winding methodology provides the perfect balance of superior strength and toughness with easy handling and casting and is done so with virtually no memory or imperfections. Sufix Elite is wound on wide, oversized spools and lays as nicely on the reel as it does the spool.
We also like this lines toughness. It has sensational knot strength, exceptional tension strength and is abrasion resisant even at the smaller pound classes. It also works great on spinning gear.
Many lines claim no memory but some do not do a good job on the delivery portion of that bargain. Sufix Elite remains smooth, casts exceptionally and with the Camo color is virtually invisible.
