Lucas, Evers named A.R.E. Top Angler Winners

It truly was a sweet homecoming for Justin Lucas. The Sacramento native fished his home waters to victory at the Sacramento Bassmaster Elite at Sacramento River. It was Lucas’ first Elite Series victory and happened in front of a large group of family and friends. The 2nd year Elite Series pro is a member of the A.R.E. Truck Caps Fishing Team and uses their Z Series cap, which made him eligible for the A.R.E. Top Angler Award, winning a $1,000 bonus.

The very next week the Elite Series moved to Lake Havasu in Arizona. It was Edwin Evers who fished well enough to earn 3rd place and also capture the A.R.E. Top Angler Award for that event. As the highest placing angler that uses and A.R.E. cap or tonneau cover, Evers uses an A.R.E. Z Series on his Tundra, he took home his $1,000 bonus. He purchased his cap from his local A.R.E. Dealer near his hometown in Oklahoma.

A.R.E. offers a special $200 coupon for anglers. To download this coupon, click here and use the code WIRED2FISH.
