Brodey Davis of Tuttle Oklahoma caught a real fish of a lifetime today on the now ever popular O.H. Ivie in Texas while fishing with his son. Davis caught a largemouth bass weighing 17.06 pounds. The Toyota Texas ShareLunker program collected the fish and certified that the weight makes his bass the 7th largest bass ever caught in the state of Texas and the pending lake record for O.H. Ivie.

Davis’s buddy Josh Jones just yesterday became the first fisherman to catch 4 legacy class ShareLunkers (bass over 13 pounds) in the history of the program. He caught two 15 pounders last year and two 14 pounders already this year. And was there for his good friend Brodey’s moment today.

It’s simply remarkable what O.H. Ivie has done over the years but especially the last two years with forward facing sonar and an Alabama rig. Davis’s pending lake record fish fell for an Alabama rig with 6th Sense Divine Swimbaits and Swimbait Heads on a Dobyns Champion 795 rod.

Enjoy the pictures below. See more about these big Texas bass at the Toyota ShareLunkers Facebook Page or texassharelunker.com.

In case you missed it, the pending world record mean mouth was caught two days ago.
