Spring is “Trap” time.
As big fish move from their winter haunts they are hungry and gearing up for the approaching spawn and nothing catches them better that shad imitators. Reaction strikes can be vicious and if grass is available, ripping it through it can trigger big fish. When the water warms their first move is to the humps and secondary points off main channel swings on south facing banks. Rat-L-Traps are great for this time of year.
Bill Lewis Outdoors continues to innovate and tweak their proven line-up and with the recent addition of the ECHO 1.75 they now have a go-to squarebill with that low knock sound. The Tiny Trap can work great for bass but also works well for crappie, bluegill and hybrid bass too. The Rat-L-Trap is a proven commodity and is always good to have on the deck this time of year.
