This can often make fishing unpredictable and you should have a game plan for these bodies of water at different stages.
Wired2Fish staff Walker Smith talks about his home lake and how it has made him a more adaptable angler by adjusting to fluctuating water levels. At high water levels, Walker will focus more on submerged or flooded vegetation near the bank and the inside sections of docks. As the water lowers, he will fish the outside grass edges off the first breakline and the front end of docks, anticipating the movement of the fish with the changing water level.
