Alabama native Wes Logan explains how to read river banks to locate likely bass locations. His interpretations are based on the size and location of current breaks (eddies) created by bank cover such as boulders and laydowns. Bass often position in the slack water behind current obstructions, so making targeted and repetitive pitches and flips is an excellent way to get bites.
