Wired2fish Publisher Jason Sealock is one of the best at using his fish finders and electronics to find and catch fish. He’s taught a lot of people how to find bass with modern electronics but he’s also a huge advocated of using them to catch white bass, crappie, bluegill and even catfish.

He and his son Jett often spend a few weeks in the spring looking for bedding bluegills, shell crackers and even crappie and he has perfected finding and marking their beds and then turning around and catching the fish with a simple livebait drop shot rig showed to him by FLW Tournament Director Bill Taylor.

In this video, Sealock and his son mark beds of bluegills, show you how to find them with your electronics and then how to quickly and easily catch them with red worms in the spring. Check out this informative video to get more out of your electronics than just the one fish you probably bought them to find.

Equipment used in this video:

  • Lowrance HDS
  • Structure Scan
  • No. 6 Eagle Claw Aberdeen Hook
  • 1/8 ounce bell sinker
  • 4-pound Vicious monofilament
